Caritas Poland is conducting a money collection for flood victims. Contributions can be made on the caritas.pl website, via BLIK to the number 668 070 000 with the title FLOOD, or by traditional transfer to the account 77 1160 2202 0000 0000 3436 4384 with the note FLOOD. Caritas also collects items, but only in wholesale quantities from companies. „At the moment, we are not conducting material collections from individual persons,” it was informed. Caritas informs that they need: dehumidifiers, drinking water, power generators, shovels, wheelbarrows, rubber boots, cloths, hygiene products, and long-lasting food. Material assistance from companies can be reported to the address [email protected].

The Caritas of the Diocese of Swidnica has launched a 24-hour canteen primarily for people in homelessness crisis, but anyone affected can benefit from a warm meal: in the canteen in Swidnica at ul. Westerplatte 4-6 and in the canteen in Dzierzoniow at ul. Kilinskiego 8. The Caritas of the Diocese of Opole will deliver meals to flood victims prepared by canteens in Raciborz and Nysa starting from Monday.

The Polish Red Cross has launched a special collection to support residents of flooded areas by providing food, drinking water, hygiene products, and dehumidifiers for buildings. Contributions can be made online through the website www.pck.pl, directly to the account number: 16 1160 2202 0000 0002 7718 3060, via BLIK (794 33 22 11), or the Zrzutka.pl platform. Humanitarian Aid Groups from Zielona Gora and Opole deliver warm drinks and meals to people evacuated from flooded areas in one of the schools in Glucholazy.

Rafal Trzaskowski wrote on Platform X that after contacting municipalities affected by the flood, he decided to ask the Warsaw City Council to allocate financial resources for the reconstruction of Klodzko and Nysa for projects indicated by the municipalities. „However, the priority today is immediate assistance. Therefore, we are starting a collection of the most needed items: drinking water in bottles, hygiene products, and dry food,” he announced. Trzaskowski stated that items can be donated today from 5:00 p.m. to the „Filters” Water Treatment Station warehouse on ul. Raszyńska, and from tomorrow morning, the collection will also be conducted in all district offices. He added that the list of needed items will be updated, and the collected items will be transported to those in need.
